What is Shared Shopping Cart?

Shared Shopping Cart lets groups of friends, families, or teammates share a shopping list, assign who buys each item, and track who owes whom — no spreadsheet needed.

How it works

1. Create or join a group
   Start a shared group for your household, team, or event. Invite others by sharing the invite link, or make the group public so anyone can find and join.
2. Add a shopping task
   A task is a shared shopping run — give it a name and optional notes. Everyone in the group can see all tasks.
3. Add items and assign buyers
   Add items to the shared cart with a name and price. Assign each item to a group member, or leave it unassigned for someone to claim.
4. Mark items as purchased
   Once a buyer has purchased an item, they mark it purchased. Everyone can see the progress in real time.
5. Settle up
   The Balances section shows who owes whom. Both sides confirm once money has changed hands — debt cleared.
